Parenting is the process of raising children and providing for them protection,care, and the support they need in order to grow and develop into an outstanding adult. Many parents don’t get it right when it comes to parenting. Some people due to the nature of their jobs will leave their children at the mercy of the nanny or house help which can affect the development of the children in one way or the other. Parents listen,no one can take care of your children like you always do. Never. So believe me that some parents are either too lazy to take care of their children or too busy to do so. The Bible says”train up a child in the way that he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it”(proverb 22:6) If you did not play your role well as a parent, you have failed in everything.The essence of all your hard work and effort is to take care of your children,if by the end of the day you find out that you have neglected the most important thing which is to guide your children and inculcate in them the right principles of life because of your being too busy, you will regret it. At that time you cannot reverse the hand of time in order to do so. If you train your children well as a good parent, you will be very happy and proud of them everywhere you go, but if you did not, they will be your biggest regret in life. Make your children your priority and train them in the fear of God. Good parenting involves a great deal of consistency and routine, which gives children a sense of control.
