How to make your marriage work

Marriage becomes very very interesting and sweet when couples knows how to build a happy marriage. What’s the use of marriage if the relationship between the couples are like lion and deer in every angle. For every marriage to work, all hands must be on deck so that the home will be sweet and lovely.High rate of divorce can be reduced if couples can sit down and talk about their differences and how to overcome it. The joy of every marriage is that after the hustle for the day either in the office or business, you will come back in a comfortable and sweet home which washes away all the troubles of the day. The home is a place of refuge during storms and twists of life. If you are facing storm even in your own marriage/home,then you are likely to be frustrated for life if the storm is not resolved amicably.

There are things that needs to be considered for every marriage to work which includes
1)Understanding : Always try to understand your partner.Understand that your partner has strength and weakness and when you understand your partner’s weakness and how to cope with it,then you can easily enjoy your marriage to the fullest.

2) Trust: Learn to trust your partner unconditionally.Avoid doubt because it can lead to disaster if not stopped.

3) Effective communication: Always voice out what you don’t like or what you are uncomfortable with. Don’t keep it to yourself. Any behavior or words which your partner is doing or words your partner is using that you don’t like, kindly communicate it with him or her.

4)Word of God: Always use the word of God continually. Let it be in your mouth daily.Study it diligently, it will help you know the things that you are expected to do as a husband or as a wife. It will be your guide on how you train your children. When you are serious in knowing what God expects from your marriage then some certain things will no longer be an issue in your marriage.

5) Love: When love is in a marriage, you will feel it even if you are blind, you will know.Bible says that love covers all things.When couples are in love, you as an outsider will feel it, the love will make them grow stronger to overcome all problem together.Learn to love your husband or wife as you first did before you decided to tie the knot. Children born in a family where love reigns are perfect in everything.

6) Sexual intimacy: Don’t use sex as a weapon against your partner.Any conflicts between couples can be resolved during the night. Don’t deny your partner his or her right over your body and don’t always give gap too much except that you are fasting and after that, you can come together so that the devil will not come in between you. Be positive about sex by telling your partner how awesome his or her performance is. Try new positions with him that can make him or her to fall head over heels in love with you again and again.

Finally, always avoid doing what you know that will irritate your partner which may lead to serious problem. Some people always like to do the opposite of what their partner wants them to do.Learn to love and respect your partner because respect is reciprocal. Learn to appreciate your partner over any little thing or help he or she renders,it makes he or she to feel loved. Give your partner undivided attention.If you have children, attend to them but make sure that when your partner needs you, you will give him or her hundred percent attention.Alwys surprise your partner by giving them gift no matter how little it is.Be proud of your partner and make him or her to know that he or she means the whole world to you.
